SBE ATX-00 Performances

With a 475 kg payload and a minimum endurance of 1h in full electric with a cruise speed of 180 km/h, and thanks to VTOL characteristics, the SBE ATX-00 is the perfect solution for a safe flight for passengers and cargo.
The performances are based on the current state of the art of the Li-Ion batteries. Further enhancements are possible with new battery technologies as well as hybrid configurations.
Aerodynamics

The electric aviation needs efficiency to gain range. Battery development alone cannot guarantee to reach long ranges.
The BoxWing and clean surfaces with minimum appendices gives the best efficiency.
Rotors are hidden in a proper vane during the cruise flight for a better aerodynamics.

Safety

The vertical rotors can be 4 in a coaxial arrangement or 6 singles to guarantee the proper redundancy for the best risk management.
Moreover, the PrandtlPlane has been proven to have a very smooth stall together with a higher max lift coefficient, ensuring low stall speeds.
The Lift+Cruise architecture has no critical movable parts, minimizing the risk of loosing control and avoiding parasitic gyroscopic effects during the transition.

Flexibility & Scalability

The SBE ATX-00 can take off and land in vertical (VTOL) mode as well as a conventional airplane (CTOL). This guarantees higher operating flexibility and safety in all the possible scenarios.
The concept is directly scalable to different sizes, from small drones up to air taxis.
